These just in...

For your future entertainment:

Yes, the cover art features an hourglass full of skulls:

Did you notice my nosy kitty on the left?? Man, I can't wait to read this one.

And my thanks go out to everyone who has commented to help me find the few titles I'm missing. Especially Kat: the Bookmooch hint was awesome. I'm just figuring out what I own that I can part with, and then Hollow Skull will be mine. MINE!!! Miiiiiine!! (unless someone else gets it first.)

Season of Passage is SO TERRIBLE. I actually bought it a few months ago because I realized I'd never read any of Christopher Pike's "adult" novels... Now I know why.

That is cute how your cat snuck into the picture!

Hmm...I posted something earlier, but I guess it didn't work. Anyway...

katanma: I thought I was the only one who didn't enjoy Season of Passage. Seems like a ton of people regard this as one of his best books, but I could never get into it no matter how much I tried. I was even thinking of re-reading it for the 4th or 5th time, but never got around to it.

LongWinter: Awesome finds! Out of the four books, I really liked The Listeners the best. Though it reminds me of another book of his, but I will not get into that or else I'll ruin part of the plot.

Oh my god, I loved "The Starlight Crystal" growing up. I dare say it's my favorite non-series Pike book.

A pox on someone if they mooch 'Hollow Skull' before you!

1) Sweet! It has always been my dream to be name-checked on a '90stalgia book blog! Hope Hollow Skull (and subsequent recap) turn out well.

2) Is it wrong that I kind of think of my weeks as starting on Thursday instead of Monday now, 'cause that's when the newest recap comes out?

Ooh, I just discovered "The Listeners" randomly at a coffeeshop, and let me tell you, it suuuuuuucks. Ridiculous boilerplate interrogation dialogue, poorly disguised exposition, an FBI agent undercover as a pervy reporter who gets slapped on the back for said perviness. It's all here! I'm looking forward to your recap!
